Mat hirem Programm Anplackt geet et fir de Serge Tonnar a seng Band zeréck bei d’Wuerzelen. Duerch e besonnesche Fokus op akustesch Kläng loossen sech d’Lidder vun der bekannter Gruppéierung frësch an nei entdecken. Inspiratioun zéien déi fënnef Kënschtler ë. a. aus der Weltmusek, aus Balladen a Protest-Songs.

Elegance, softness, the beaches of Rio de Janeiro… Bossa nova evokes a singular atmosphere and images. Born in the 1950s, this unique fusion of samba and jazz charms with its subtle rhythms and sophisticated harmonies, capturing the sunny, languorous spirit of Brazilian culture… As he does every year, composer and conductor Gast Waltzing will invite internationally renowned musicians to explore the frontiers of a musical genre. Brazilian singer Paula Morelenbaum, with the Orchestre national de Jazz Luxembourg, will bring us a parenthesis of warmth and softness in the heart of winter.
Gone are the long hair, the devilish tattoos and the raised horns. Make way for another form of heavy metal: the tuba. The largest instrument in the orchestra is in the spotlight in this latest concert by the Harmonie municipale d’Esch/Alzette. The Luxembourg Tuba Consortium, invited for the occasion, will showcase the sound, virtuosity and charm of this instrument, designed to blend in with the group, but which has not said its last word in the hands of a soloist.
There is music playing, singing, dancing, and you are walking around the narrow streets of Buenos Aires tonight. Accompanied by an accordionist, a contrabassist and two virtuoso dancers, soprano Stephany Ortega brings to life the tireless inventiveness of Astor Piazzolla, the father of modern tango. This man achieved to capture the popular spirit of tango – a pillar of Argentinian culture – by expressing it through a new voice, with classic classical and jazz influences. The evening showcases a set of his most beautiful canciones to convey to us, with a little pop and electro touch, an endless source of emotions and sensuality.
