It was in the zambras of Sacromonte, a series of caves in the Gypsy quarter of Granada, that Fuensanta La Moneta learned her art, like so many other great names in flamenco. In three tableaux featuring styles such as seguiriya, soleá and tango, Vínculos celebrates the links between the music of composer Mauricio Sotelo, a long-time companion of the Andalusian artist, and the wild and intimate dance she cherishes. At once present and very much elsewhere, in a place chosen by her alone, where she does not have to answer to anyone, La Moneta presents a flamenco of incandescent beauty, impossible to possess.
As part of the FlamencoFestival Esch.
This show combines legends from the Middle Ages, guitar, castanets and Andalusian ruffle dresses, to convey a flamenco that is also a formidable call to respect for difference.
Dancer and choreographer José Galán invites you to discover his joyful and inclusive approach to flamenco, offered alongside the performance El Jorobado de Sevilla.
