Echos Infinis & AlShe/Me
With their intimate and intense encounters, these two hip-hop duos question the influence exerted by others on the way we act. From the first to the last second of Echos Infinis, Benoît Callens and Alicia Cano achieve the feat of remaining in constant contact, caught up in the apparatus of bodies in perpetual motion. This fusional bond is also apparent in AlShe/Me (pronounced “Alchemy”). Linda Hayford, a master of popping – that dance style disarticulating the body – appears alongside her brother . She bears witness to this distinctive connection between two beings so closely linked to one other, in a play of subtle similarities and differences.
