We remember the show Yumé, which received standing ovations in 2024, and the Kukoro’s beneficial influence on Édouard Hue. Coming from the Japanese tradition, these almost imperceptible dancers once again blend into the shadow of the scenery. Visually inventing a universe inhabited by mysterious forces, the Swiss choreographer depicts a family which, once asleep, is swept up in an initiatory adventure. Carried by Stravinsky’s music and visceral dancing, the challenge facing the twelve protagonists is a daunting one: how to preserve solidarity in a world prone to division. This is an ode to transmission and freedom.
