Teatro di Verzura
What if opera led us into the heart of a lush garden, populated by plants with forgotten names, migrating roots and invisible beings? Teatro di Verzura is an invitation to see and hear differently. In this show, baroque music deploys all its power, carried by the singing of cantoLX and the richness of ancient instruments. Artist Lise Duclaux – also on stage – leads us, through her texts and drawings, into a dialogue with the vegetal realm. She reveals a microcosm hidden from our fleeting glance: a world where humans are no longer the only things at the centre of the living world.
An introduction to the show will take place on 20/11 at 7.15pm.
A discussion with the artistic team will take place on 21/11 after the performance.
