Patchwork combines a variety of genres, from breakdance to popping, which transforms the dancers’ movements into stupefying robotic gestures, and house, a style that mixes influences from funk and jazz. Drawing from the richness of hip-hop, the collective Knowledge expresses identity through movement. Four artists from Luxembourg tell their personal stories that are each brimming with doubts and dreams. In the spirit of RemixCulture, Esch2022, this choreography is a creative reflection of the assemblage of identities in constant flux and formation that is emblematic of the Grand Duchy.
