Soul, jazz and groove for this 2027 edition. An initiative from conductor and composer Gast Waltzing, the New Year’s Concert brings together the Estro Armonico chamber orchestra and the charismatic Myles Sanko Band. After cutting his teeth in the clubs of Cambridge, the British singer of Ghanaian origin develops a style that blends modern soul, jazz and African influences. In his songs, he tackles universal themes such as love, memory and identity. On the stage of the Escher Theater, this unique collaboration promises all the pulsation and sensitive explosion one expects from soul.
