Rappelez-vous Poil de la bête la saison passée. Autour de Juan et Diane, artistes fermier·ères, brillait toute une constellation d’actrices formidables : des canes, des poules, mais aussi Paulette la chienne, fidèle au poste. Et s’il y en a une qui ne stresse pas à l’idée de remonter sur scène, c’est bien elle !
Loyauté, courage, fidélité : depuis toujours, on associe le chien à quelques valeurs fondamentales, ce que ne démentiront ni Snoopy, ni Gromit, ni Milou. Mais qu’en est-il en réalité ? Au gré d’expériences insolites et drôles, Pas Bête nous plonge dans les pensées philosophiques… de la race canine ! Car ce que l’animal nous enseigne passe souvent inaperçu, et Paulette compte bien nous révéler quoi. Le chien, bien plus que le meilleur ami de l’Homme ?

They look like twin sisters. The uniform, the ponytail, the panache. One plays the cello, the other plays the violin, two musicians aspire to play a proper classic concerto. But very quickly, a succession of catastrophes begins. The situation would be tenable if only those two did not have a gift for squabbling wonderfully! In this joyful chaos, discord progressively gives way to complicity, and confusion is replaced by harmony. A musical and clown show, Pizz’n’zip reminds us that music is a more beautiful adventure when two people share it, regardless of our differences.

You know, hens and ducks have stage fright, sometimes. It’s their first time at the theater… Fortunately a faithful female sheepdog guides and gathers them together. Except now, instead of the traditional flock of sheep, a dashing and whirling ballet of feathered feet appear before our eyes. Artists-farmers, Juan and Diane join this crazy, funny and acrobatic round dance to explore the links that connect us to domestic animals. Set to the music of an improvisational pianist, their charming beasts delightful animals are the heroines of a hair-raising world that promises many twists… and lucky escapes!
Inspired by Japanese tales, Yumé narrates the journey of a heroine whose shadow is stolen. An initiatory quest awaits her, filled with mysterious and magical creatures. On stage, a succession of shadow and light interplays plunges us into the protagonist’s dream. Around the dancer, items and garments come to life, masterfully held by four black-clad artists hidden in darkness. Invisible to the naked eye, Japanese tradition names them Kuroko. This art of illusion carries adults and children away to fantastical lands between ocean and mountains, to put, literally, our heads into the clouds.

Speed and youth! From the first to the last second of Juventud, five jugglers manifest unfailing endurance and audacity. Made of danced fighting and complicit hand game, the choreography leaves no space to hesitations. Each movement brings about another one, in a flurry of hypnotic acts whose pace, unrelenting, goes crescendo. Traditional juggling objects, balls, masses, and rings get formed and disformed, to mold bodies and come, with great poetry, to another life.
In this miniature botanical landscape, heads poke out beyond the mountains. Those little faces look familiar: they’re your kids! But don’t panic, they’re invited to contemplate a profuse and poetic world. As they’re placed beneath a model, their heads stick out and they end up at the heart of this microcosm that comes to life like by magic. Fauna and flora awaken and time freezes: the young (and less young) audience members are the witnesses of a beauty whose balance seems fragile… Au jardin des Potiniers is a humble and immediate encounter with nature and its splendor.

Are you desperately perfectionist? So is he! Tight as a clam and clever as a cartload of monkeys, our friends seems to have only one idea in mind, under his straw hat: building pyramids… of buckets. Not 3 or 6, but 60 lime-colored buckets. Through all means, especially the craziest ones, he intends to give them sumptuous geometric shapes. So, this dreamer aligns and piles up, to the point of hubris… Like for Cleopatra’s architect, it’s however in imperfection and mistakes that poetry will come out. Bakéké (“bucket” in Hawaiian) is a story that tells our own obstinacies, deliciously absurd and liberating.
